Downstairs, proud chefs from my favorite hotel restaurants were there. Urbana, Firefly, Ris, Nage, Poste, Jackson 20, and even the Hilton Washington brought duck confit with a cherry salad.
Over $750,000 was raised during this event and will help provide one million meals to the Greater Capital Region. Over the 20 year history, more than $9.2 million dollars have been raised at this event. The walk-around tasting was prepared in person by over 60 top chefs. I was very happy to taste all many offering beyond the hotel lobby and I urge you step out and make a reservation at the many great restaurants who wear their heart on their sleeves, or rather, their spoons.
