Washington, DC (March 17, 2012) – Located just above the White House, P.J. Clarke’s is hosting their second annual and must-go-to St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Starting today at 8 a.m. on Saturday with a Kegs & Eggs Brunch, the day will be full of live performances by the Culkin School Irish Dancers and a traditional Irish Pipe & Drum Band.
[Hey! Have you seen my post on custom-made MTM clothing? Take a look, and if you place an order, they will add a free custom shirt. Just tell them The Washington Lobbyist sent you.]
They will have drink specials on Irish beer and liquor, including Guinness ($4), Harp Lager ($4), Bass ($4), Jameson Irish whiskey shots ($6) and Bushmills Irish whiskey shots ($6).
At the end of the night, one lucky guest will be awarded two (his and hers) Vespa scooters. To enter for these red and white LX 150 Vespa scooters, just make a $20 donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Fund. When you enter, the restaurant will match the donation and will even give you a t-shirt.
During the day, they will have outdoor games, traditional Irish menu items, and you might just see a few Cheerleaders from Washington DC’s football team.
