Brookland’s Finest Offers “Aromatherapy” Cocktail to Sooth Red Line Blues

With many remaining days of closed Rhode Island and Brookland Metro stations looming, Brookland’s Finest is offering a calming and refreshing cocktail they’re calling “Aromatherapy,” to give commuters a break from their trips home.

This drink is based on the Prohibition-era cocktail “the Bee’s Knee’s” and made with lavender-infused Ivy City Gin from local distiller, One Eight Distilling.

Lavender is a calming and relaxing herb used for natural stress-relief.

The Aromatherapy cocktail is available all day for $10 and commuters who show their SmarTrip cards during Happy Hour will enjoy $1 off the drink.

Brookland’s Finest offers Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Happy Hour specials include $5 rail drinks, $6 select drafts, and $6 house red or white wine.
