Popular functional training network to open fitness studio in the heart of Tysons in early 2019.
Australian fitness concept F45 Training is making its way to Tysons. WYLI Venture Partners Incorporated reached an agreement on a five-year lease for one of its businesses, F45 Tysons, to occupy the 2,728-square-foot front corner retail space at 1953 Gallows Road. F45 Tysons is slated to open in early 2019.
F45 Training merges three separate leading-edge fitness training styles into one, consummate and compelling group training experience for its members. F45 Training combines elements of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training. The fusion of these three training concepts has led to the development of 31 different, 45 minute workout experiences, with more in development by the F45 Athletics Department. This combination of interval, cardiovascular and strength training has been proven to be the most effective workout method for burning fat and building lean muscle.
The eight-story office building features a total of 113,385 square feet and includes extensive visitor parking for F45’s members. The space is owned by Colony Northstar, Inc. Papadopoulos Properties and Cushman & Wakefield served as the brokers in the transaction for F45 Tysons and Colony Northstar. Construction of the fitness facility will be managed Paul Kemp of TKO Construction LLC, headquartered in Mt. Airy, MD.
F45 Tysons will offer fitness programs with more than 1200 exercises changed daily; multi-screen LCD TVs displaying all exercises; heart rate technology for performance tracking; live DJ mixes and F45 FM music to keep members motivated; and a global support network of coaching professionals.
Other F45’s in the Washington Metro Area include Alexandria, Bethesda, Pentagon Row and U Street, with a location in Ballston opening soon.
