New York, NY (May 31, 2012) – Andaz Wall Street, the only hotel situated on Wall Street, is bringing back their seasonal outdoor Andaz Wall Street Farmer’s Market starting Wednesday June 13th, 2012 until November.
From 8am to 3pm every Saturday and Wednesday, hotel guests as well as the general public can visit the Andaz Wall Street Plaza near Wall & Water streets and shop from local farms as well as sample food from the hotel’s Wall & Water restaurant.
True to Wall & Water’s roots, the Andaz Wall Street Farmer’s Market will feature items from Hudson Valley farms and markets including fruits and vegetables from Migliorelli Farm, poultry and game from Quattro‘s, jams and chutneys from Beth’s Farm Kitchen, cheese and other dairy products from Farm Catskills, artisanal soaps from Ash Hopper and artisan breads from Orwasher Bakery. All of the farmer’s market suppliers stock the hotel’s Wall & Water restaurant with their farm-fresh ingredients.
“It is a great pleasure to bring back Andaz Wall Street’s farmer’s market for its third year and provide neighbors and visiting hotel guests the freshest produce available in lower Manhattan,” says Andaz Wall Street General Manager Jeffrey Miller.
Andaz Wall Street will also be partnering with Down Home Acres a second time to sponsor a community supported agriculture farm (CSA). CSA is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between a local farm and community members. NYC members can pick up their share at the Andaz Wall Street Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays.
The Andaz Wall Street farmer’s market will continue every Saturday and Wednesday through November 2012. For more information, please visit www.wallstreet.andaz.com or call (212) 590-1234.
