Washington loves their brunches, and if you are reading this, you are looking for a better brunch. The Greenhouse at The Jefferson, Washington DC, is open for breakfast and lunch, and is now offering a polished sophisticated brunch that will impress all backed by a freshly minted Michelin star.
For starters, their champagnes by the glass are impressive; offering Adami, “Col Credas,” Prosecco, Rive di Farra di Soligo, Valdobbiadene Superiore – Ruinart, Blanc de Blancs, Reims – Michel Forget, Brut Rosé, Ludes – Krug, “Grande Cuvée,” Reims.
Their menu offers Russian Osetra Caviar and Poached Egg Parfait with Creme Friche, Avocado and Hollandaise Sauce (!), Lobster Eggs Benedict, Oysters, Croque Monsieur and salads and soups. For sweets, they have Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Belgian Waffles, Pastries, a Caramel Coffee Liegeois. Amazing!
