Washington, DC (April 18, 2015) – On Monday April 13th, No Kid Hungry hosted their Taste of the Nation in DC at the National Building Museum where over 90 restaurants participated to help end food hunger.
100% of the proceeds went to the Capital Area Food Bank, the DC Hunger Solutions, and Mary’s Center. Sponsors included; Citi, Sysco, Food Network, OpenTable, Maryland Live!, Celebrity Cruises, Omega Protein, Turkish Airlines, Sir Speedy DC, CTGi and San Pellegrino.
The event was hosted by Celebrity chef, television host, best-selling author, and nationally syndicated writer Melissa d’Arabian.
Taste of the Nation Washington DC promotes awareness of the critical issue of childhood hunger and Share Our Strength’s solutions to it. More than 16 million children in America struggle with hunger.
