Washington, DC – sweetgreen announces its DC collaboration with Erik Bruner-Yang, chef and restaurateur of the wildly popular, Maketto, on a new warm bowl.
As sweetgreen introduces warm bowls to its menu, it is the perfect time for a partnership with Erik Bruner-Yang, both a longtime friend of the brand and a leader in DC’s culinary landscape. Bruner-Yang, known for modernizing traditional Cambodian and Taiwanese dishes using seasonal flavor profiles, shares sweetgreen’s obsession with real food and to making real, authentic connections in their communities, as well as the desire to constantly innovate.
Inspired by the flavor combinations for which BrunerYang is known, The Maketto Dinner Bowl contains wild rice, roasted chicken, sesame roasted tofu, ginger cabbage slaw, cilantro basil, mint, cucumbers, cashews, and chili-tamari dressing with a lime squeeze.
The Maketto Dinner Bowl will be available exclusively in DMV-area sweetgreen locations from November 3 through January 4, 2017.
