Squash On Fire Ignites DC’s Workout Game
Eight Court, Membership-Free Squash Facility Opens in the West End
Squash On Fire announces the opening of its new facility, an unparalleled, 19,700 square foot state-of-the-art squash facility in the West End neighborhood. The country’s first pay-as-you-go squash facility has opened its doors to the DC community.
Squash On Fire will make the sport of squash accessible to the public in an unprecedented way with its membership-free model, allowing players to book a court or lesson with no barriers. The technology-forward facility features eight courts with video recording capabilities, including two all glass “showcase courts” boasting unparalleled views of the game, and will offer group and individual lessons and clinics. Players will also have the opportunity to book a court and play alone or with an opponent for as little as $10 per player.
Beyond world-class squash courts and coaches, Squash On Fire features a full service bar and restaurant, a green patio overlooking M Street, high end locker rooms and showers, and a pro shop stocked with gear and Squash On Fire branded lululemon apparel.
Squash On Fire is fully equipped to host tournaments and will position DC as the squash capital of the US. Its booking app, Advantage Booking, allows players to function completely independently, enabling them to book a court and check in through the app, which even turns the lights on the designated court on when a session begins.
The multi-million facility is part of EastBanc, Inc.’s just completed civic contribution to the West End, and rests between the West End Fire Station Project, DC’s oldest fire station and 61 affordable housing units.
