The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will celebrate its annual fundraising gala, An Evening for Hope at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons on Saturday April 28, 2018.
The money raised at An Evening for Hope will go directly to the Children’s Inn, a “place like home” for children with serious illnesses. The Children’s Inn was founded in 1990, and since that time nearly 13,000 children and their families from all 50 states and nearly 100 countries have stayed – free of charge – at the Inn. After spending their days in treatment at NIH, the children return to the Children’s Inn to be with their families and the compassionate staff and volunteers, to participate in a variety of educational and fun activities.
Dr. Norman Sharpless, Fox 5 Tony Perkins and Dr. Lawrence Tabak will be featured speakers at the Evening For Hope Gala. They will be joined by Gala Chair Todd Pantezzi and NETE Solutions President Jolly Vasani.
Sponsors include NETE, Booz Allen Hamilton, General Dynamics, Leidos, CSP Enterprises, Dell EMC, IFC, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard, NCC, and more.
The Gala donates all net proceeds to The Children’s Inn whose mission is to reduce the burden of illness and empower the work of NIH clinicians who work tirelessly to find treatments and cures for life-threatening childhood diseases.
