Washington, DC (September 29th, 2011) – The Washington Design Center, home to the region’s finest and most extensive collection of upscale designer home furnishings and accessories, announces the return of the Washington Design Center Sample Sale, to be held Wednesday, September 28 through Saturday, October 1, at the showroom’s 300 D Street SW location in Washington, D.C.
With price reductions of up to 75% off luxury designer furnishings and decor, the Washington Design Center invites trade members to access the sale exclusively September 28-30, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will be open to the public Saturday, October 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5, and all proceeds benefit pediatric oncology programs at Georgetown University Hospital.
Each spring and fall, the Design Center hosts its sample sale to offer both trade professionals and consumers hundreds of discontinued high-end floor samples in select showrooms at significant markdowns. Featured showrooms for the Fall 2011 Sample Sale include WILLEMSMITHDC, Century Furniture, Robert Allen | Beacon Hill and Baker. A complete list of participating designer showrooms can be found at the end of this release.

An on-site shipping service will also be made available to handle delivery of large purchases and pieces.
The Washington Design Center offers year-long discounts on a selection of designer home furnishings and décor at its permanent Sample Room in Suite 410. Consumers are welcome to browse the Design Center showrooms on floors 1-7, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
