P.O.V, the award-winning lounge atop W Washington D.C., announces the debut of its revamped rooftop menu. Created by 3-star Michelin rated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the new menu features entrée and dessert additions incorporating flavors from truffles to kumquats.
In addition to offering delicious craft cocktails that accompany sweeping views of the White House and national monuments, guests can now enjoy three gourmet thin crust pizzas: Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil; Wild Mushroom & Goat Cheese; and Truffle & Fontina. Individually-sized P.O.V pizzas are ideal for a late night snack, a light afternoon lunch, and everything in between.
The Truffle & Fontina Pizza, served at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s restaurants worldwide, is a highlight of P.O.V’s pizza selections. Made from a combination of black truffle peelings and truffle oil, this choice is a standout example of Vongerichten’s ability to integrate gourmet ingredients into casual fare.
On the dessert side, P.O.V is introducing Walnut Fudge Brownie with Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Crème Fraiche Cheesecake served with rich kumquat marmalade and housemade mandarin sorbet.
