New Orleans, LA (January 31, 2013) – In only a few days, the most watched program will be on every television screen in the country. That’s right, it is SuperBowl Sunday.
We know who is playing in New Orleans, but do we know where they are staying? As of now, most hotels in the city center have been booked up solid, and for some time now. But we have the scoop on where our teams will be staying.
Looks like the Baltimore Ravens are staying at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Located on Two Poydras Street, this is a 29-story, 341 feet-tall hotel built originally in 1977. There are 1,622 total guestrooms, including 74 spacious suites including Executive Suites on the 29th floor with a private check-in.
As for the San Francisco 49ers, they have found accommodations at the New Orleans Marriott. This is a 42-story, 449 feet-tall hotel built in 1972 located on 555 Canal Street, closer to the Mercedez-Benz Superdome. This hotel offers 1,274 rooms and 55 large suites including a Deluxe and a Tower Parlor Suite. They boast an updated lobby.
The NFL Headquarters has positioned itself just steps from the Superdome at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. This hotel was built in 1976, and is a 31-story, 361-foot-tall hotel with 1,193 guest rooms. In October of 2011, they reopened after a $275 million Post Hurricane Katrina revitalization. The hotel, after much damage, now has ninety-five contemporary suites, five meeting planner suites and four presidential suites with high-tech features, from Looney & Associates, a Chicago-based interior design firm.
