Magnolia Bakery, the cult New York City bakery, cherished for its freshly baked, classic American desserts, is thrilled to announce that it is now open inside Washington, DC’s historic Union Station.
Upon debuting, the brand will introduce its signature cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, icebox desserts and more to the Nation’s Capital.
Founded in New York City’s West Village in 1996, Magnolia Bakery first gained a reputation for its charming vintage decor, inviting atmosphere, and fresh-from-scratch desserts.
Today, under the ownership Steve Abrams, the brand has been thoughtfully expanded from its original West Village shop to locations across the United States and worldwide.
The Union Station location will feature Magnolia Bakery’s iconic favorites, all made from scratch and on-site.
Signature highlights include Banana Pudding with vanilla wafers, fresh bananas and creamy vanilla pudding; Red Velvet Cake topped with whipped vanilla icing; Key Lime Cheesecake made with a graham cracker crust; and Sea Salt Caramel Cookies made with chocolate chunks and handmade sea salt caramel, in addition to both classic and signature cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pies, and more.
