Washington, DC (August 26, 2013) – Just above the Washington Convention Center, a new restaurant has opened its doors.
Thally, named after the “Tally-Ho” Stables located in Naylor Court and the co-owner’s daughter Thalia, is a restaurant bringing you simple, fresh and flavorful modern American fare.
Chef & Co-Owner Ron Tanaka and General Manager & Co-Owner Sherman Outhuok wanted Thally to be a comfortable and inviting neighborhood restaurant, as well as a destination worthy of Washingtonians crossing the city to discover their cuisine.
Inside, you’ll notice Matthew Hlubny‘s images of the antique stables, row-houses and carriage houses that were characteristic of the historic 19th-century Shaw Neighborhood.
On the tentative Menu you will see; Grilled Peach Salad, Herbed Goat Cheese Watermelon, Pan Seared Rockfish, Grilled Pork T-Bone, along with a rotating list of wines and craft beers, custom cocktails and unique spirits in a 70 seat restaurant with a 28 foot-long bar and can seat 14 people!
Thally is located adjacent to Seasonal Pantry and A&D Neighborhood Bar, in the middle of the block between N and O Streets, NW.
Open: Tuesday –Sunday: 5pm -11:30pm (bar), 5:30pm – 11pm (kitchen). Not open on Monday.
