Last month Charlie Palmer Steak DC debuted a complete interior and menu refresh.
Chef Charlie Palmer tasked lead bartender Lamar Lusk to makeover the Capitol Hill restaurant’s cocktail program, resulting in a new cocktail list that both excites the spirit connoisseur and satisfies a conservative cocktail consumer.
With an overarching goal to showcase local American spirits and inspired by classic cocktail flavors and elements, the new cocktail program reflects updated and lighter beverages.
The team’s skilled craftsmanship is conveyed through the rotating cocktail lit, featuring house made shrubs, juice and syrup.
Standout selections include:
– Mora Borracha with del maguey vida mezcal, 123 blanco tequila, blackberry, lime, ginger beer – Raucous Caucus with double cross vodka, aviation gin, aperol, honey, lemon, grapefruit – The Other Side with ocean vodka, hibiscus syrup, lime, tonic – Devil’s Fruit with green hat gin, blackberry shrub, bitter lemon soda, lemongrass bubbles.
