Washington, DC (June 20, 2013) – Mintwood Place in Adams Morgan was just named one of “The Best New Restaurants in the World” by Condé Nast Traveler. The restaurant is one of only 70 nominated by experts in favorite foodie cities around the globe. This nomination come via Atlanta Journal-Constitution food critic John Kessler. The Best New Restaurants in the World will be published in the July issue of Condé Nast Traveler, on newsstands nationwide on June 25.
Owned by restauranteurs Saied Azali and John Cidre, Mintwood Place has already garnered the attention of local food enthusiasts. Just recently, Executive Chef Cedric Maupillier has won Food & Wine’s The People’s Best New Chef of the Mid-Atlantic.
With flavorful main dishes like; Wood-grilled swordfish with shrimp, beets, goat cheese and espelette curd, Cast-iron Amish chicken, or the Five grain risotto with artichoke, asparagus, confit tomato and pesto, it is easy to understand the national attention.
