Washington, DC – Espita Mezcaleria located in Mount Vernon Square invites guests to celebrate the extended Thanksgiving holiday season with a rare import, mezcal de pechuga, a small batch delicacy originating from Southern Mexico.

Pechuga is Spanish for breast and is made when a finished mezcal is redistilled with local fruits, grains, and nuts, and a raw chicken or turkey breast is hung over the still, cooking in the emanating vapors, adding to the spirit’s one-of-a-kind flavor.

Guests can take advantage of this rare opportunity and enjoy 1oz, 2oz, and 6oz pours of this complex spirit throughout the month of November. Mezcals being offered include Don Mateo Pechuga, Real Minero Pechuga, Siete Misterios Pechuga, and El Jolgorio Pechuga. 1oz pours will range from $11-$19, 2oz pours for $21-$36, and carafes for $55-$95.
