I was very fortunate to attend the Masters of Food & Wine event at the Park Hyatt yesterday. A fresh breeze complemented all the smooth personalities found around the chef’s tables and wine tastings. Wineries hailing from Napa, Santa Barbara, Oregon like hope & grace, Brewer Clifton, Anitca Terra, respectively, were sharing great estate and vintage wines. Caymus Cabernet and Ramey Chardonnay were guest favorites.
Washington Life and Flavor magazine were sponsors, while the Daily Dish, BizBash and BizNow were well represented. I had the pleasure of meeting blogger Catherine Kersting from The Blushing Hostess, a Boston based blogette with a curiosity for life and the home around her.
Later, Mr. Dan Duckhorn himself hosted a private dinner with some of the esteemed guests at the private table atBlue Duck Tavern. There are more events throughout the week, so checkhere for a full list of events like wine education class and farmer’s market dinners.
