Washington, DC (July 9, 2014) – The Melrose Hotel‘s farm-to-fork signature restaurant, Jardenea, has a new summer lunch and dinner menu.
Jardenea’s Nate Lindsay, Executive Chef steers the menu offerings at the recently reinvented Melrose Georgetown Hotel. The inspired concept of Jardenea revolves around the above core concepts of “Inventive, Current and Conscientious” in both food selection and motif, with a high importance placed upon sustainability and priority use of locally sourced ingredients.
– Smoked Watermelon Gazpacho topped with lime crème fraiche and an heirloom tomato and avocado timbale
– Summer Strawberry and Baby Spinach Salad with candied pecans and a pink peppercorn vinaigrette
– Hawaiian Mahi Mahi Sliders with pico de gallo, tobacco onions, and mango aioli
