New York, NY (July 29, 2013) – On Saturday, July 27, the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Le Club des Chefs de Chefs (C.C.C.) – the organization of chefs to the world’s Heads of State – and the InterContinental New York Barclay launched an initiative where they served ten dishes to more than 200 New Yorkers in need. This kickoff served as a launch of their international “Fit for Royalty” menu, featuring dishes they often prepare for their respective world leader.  A portion of the proceeds from this menu will be donated to local food banks in the 16 of the participating hotels’ cities. The purpose of this initiative is to draw attention to the borderless issue of hunger.
