Giada De Laurentiis unveiled her first restaurant outside Las Vegas at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore.
GDL Italian by Giada, which opens to the public on May 22, 2018 features the finest pasta, meats and cheeses, fresh local seafood, craft cocktails and superior Italian and California wines.
“I’m thrilled to join the amazing culinary community here in Baltimore,” De Laurentiis said. “I’ve had the pleasure of sampling a wide range of Charm City’s wonderful restaurants, and I am looking forward to introducing my personal take on both traditional Italian favorites and my signature dishes served in a warm and welcoming environment.”
GDL Italian by Giada, located on the casino’s second level, will open at 4:00pm daily. The restaurant’s wine list will include select favorites from the GIADA collection in Las Vegas that earned Wine Spectator’s 2016 and 2017 Best of Award of Excellence. Under the direction of Executive Chef Brian Drosenos, GDL Italian by Giada will feature a robust selection of house-made pastas from Giada’s own personal recipes.
Horseshoe Baltimore retained Floss Barber, Inc. as the restaurant’s interior design firm. The architect on the project was R2Architects, LLC.
