This year’s “Light Up The Season” inaugural event will include 20 top area designers who have paired up with Children’s National patients in creating festive holiday trees, mantelpieces, wreaths and a menorah that will be on display and available for purchase in the Four Seasons Washington DC lobby spaces.
Meet designers like Kelley Proxmire of Kelley Proxmire Inc., Josh Hildreth of Josh Hildreth Interiors, Julia Walter of Boffi Georgetown, Brian Fell of B&B Italia Washington, DC, former White House florist Laura Dowling and Eleanor and Claire Niermann of Niermann Weeks.
Each original piece is a unique collaboration between patients of Children’s National and notable area designers and businesses. The fun-filled afternoon will include activities for all ages, such as holiday cookie decorating, ornament making, a visit from Santa and Children’s National Dr. Bear mascot, musical performances and youth entertainers, silent auction, and light fare and libations.
The holiday decor will be on display starting November 28th – December 20th and available to purchase. Tickets for the Dec. 3 event are $50 per child 12 and under, $100 per adult, or $250 per family of four (two adults and two children 12 and under).
