New York, New York (May 9, 2013) – Hours before New York’s biggest annual event, The 2013 Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, dubbed “the Oscars of the Fashion World”, celebrities camped next door at the fashionable The Mark Hotel to make a fashion scene.
Cara Delevingne, Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, André Leon Talley, Renee Zellweger, Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge, January Jones, Elizabeth Banks, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Morrison, Michelle Dockery, Carine Roitfeld, Christopher Bailey, Jemma Kidd, Josh Dallas, Plum Sykes, Bee Shaffer, Michael Kors, Mario Testino, Brian Atwood, Ginnifer Goodwin and more departed the hotel at sundown to join co-chairs Anna Wintour, Rooney Mara, Lauren Santo Domingo, and Ricardo Tisci at the museum.
This year, celebrities were asked to embrace a punk rock rock attitude. Some played it safe, while others went over the top.
As the ultimate home-away-from-home, The Mark is an old world hotel exquisitely designed by Jacques Grange, located in the epicenter of arts and fashion just steps away from Central Park. The property also includes private residences available for purchase, as owning a flat at The Mark offers spectacular amenities such as 24/7 room service from Jean Georges Vongerichten among many others.
The Mark Hotel NYC is a favorite amongst the international elite.
