Washington, DC – Chance for Life’s 11th Annual Poker Tournament made a statement on Saturday, raising a record $350,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and pediatric cancer research. That sum represents nearly one-third of the total raised, $1.3 Million over the course of the event’s first ten years. Not only were there a record number of donations this year, but the poker tournament saw a 20% increase in participants as well, including grand prize winner, Richard Wiedis.
