Celebrated African Hotel Host Wine Dinner Series

Executive Chef Malika van Reenen is hosting a wine and dine series at her restaurant Signal, located in Cape Town, South Africa.
Cape Town, South Africa (May 29, 2012) – Cape Grace’s Signal Restaurant is pleased to announce its “Vintage Wine & Dine Series,” taking on a new format, with the focus on exclusive, mature vintages to accentuate every dish. Starting at the end of May and continuing through November, the series will present a different wine estate each month and present a dinner at which the winemaker will select the wines to accompany Executive Chef Malika van Reenen’s six-course tasting menu.
Situated on a private quay, nestled between the working harbour of Cape Town’s bustling Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the serenity of an international yacht marina, Cape Grace showcases local creativity, and shares a warm atmosphere that have defined the hotel as a reputable vacation spot.
At each dinner, patrons will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer their tasting notes to both Chef Malika and the guest winemaker. There will be a welcome reception at the beginning of the meal featuring drinks and canapés. Early booking is encouraged as numbers are limited.
