Casey Trees to Host Canopy Awards at Blind Whino This Thursday Evening

Casey Trees is proud to present the fourth annual Canopy Awards on Arbor Day Eve, Thursday, April 27, 2017.

The Canopy Awards will honor community leaders who have dedicated their time to enhancing and protecting the tree canopy of Washington, D.C. The event will take place at Blind Whino, from 6:30pm – 10pm, with a silent auction preview and open bar beginning at 6pm.

The Canopy Awards is Casey Trees’ flagship event that highlights the accomplishments of those working to boost and protect D.C.’s tree canopy, raises funds, and gets everyone out for a night of fun. Canopy Awards attendees will be treated to food, drinks, games and music from local artists, in addition to a unique atmosphere and surprise theme.
