Bethesda, MD (September 13, 2013) – Brickside Food & Drink‘s Executive Sous Chef Lisa Marie Frantz has recently launched a weekend brunch menu in the modern speakeasy located just off Bethesda Row. The new brunch menu will be served Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am until 3:30pm.
Chef Frantz grew up in Northern California and attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale, AZ. After graduation she began work with the Farmers Restaurant Group opening Founding Farmers in 2008 and later, re-opening Farmers Fishers Bakers on the Georgetown Waterfront.
Chef Frantz’s forte is American scratch cooking with an emphasis on farm-to-table practices and a home style approach.
The Chef team has come up with some novel options such as a Breakfast Flatbread with thinly sliced potato, tomatoes, parmesan and sunny-side-up eggs finished in the pizza oven. Classics will be updated such as Eggs Benedict featuring house-made artichoke-garlic Chicken Sausage. Want something on the sweeter side? How about Lemon Ricotta Pancakes or Sweet Cream Cheese Filled French Toast (!!) topped with Nutella Fudge Sauce (!!!).
The menu is very diverse, featuring a selection of Brickside favorites: including burgers, wings, and pizza. The menu also has a traditional breakfast consisting of two eggs, choice of bacon or sausage and a side of your choosing. Don’t forget the Moonshine Bloody Mary with Bacon, or a Frozen Apollo with Blueberry vodka, Tang, Sprite, Everclear and grenadine.
If you are up in Bethesda on a Saturday or Sunday morning, head to Brickside Food and Drink. You can even get your college and Pro football fix there too with their oversized screens. Brickside Food & Drink is located at 44866 Cordell Ave Bethesda, MD.
