Tonight Wednesday April 11, 2018, the all-female group Della Mae will play new songs, venturing into uncharted creative territory while staying true to the classic musical and emotional intensity that their known for. Della Mae draws inspiration from young acts including the Avett Brothers, the Lumineers, and Hooray for the Riff Raff.
Thursday night, Dan Layus takes the stage, presenting songs from his debut solo album “Dangerous Things.” Layus spent 12 years as the creative force behind American roots-rock band Augustana and has exciting new music to share.
Guests can get groovy this Friday, with Charlottesville’s Love Canon – the band that’s known to put a funky bluegrass twist on 80’s music and add layers of depth to the still-appealing pop hooks.
Saturday catch Tommy Castro & The Painkillers for music that is guaranteed to fill the floor and raise the roof. Tommy, six-time Blues Music Award-winner brings his Californian soul and hard-rocking, good time songs to the Pearl Street Warehouse stage. It’s impossible not to dance and sing along.
Music fans can close out the weekend Sunday evening with the folk singer combo, Anna & Elizabeth. The duo has appeared on stages around the world, including the Cambridge Folk Festival, Brighton Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Atlanta Museum of Modern art, and a number of intimate theaters across Europe.
