Washington, DC (March 5, 2014) – 14th Street Standout Lupo Verde (14th and T Street, NW) is honoring International Women’s Day with a special prix fixe menu this Saturday, March 8th. International Women’s Day is a celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women’s economic, political and social achievements.

The menu is four courses prepared by Chef de Cuisine Domenico Apollaro.

On the Menu:
Calamari al Limone, asparagus cream, thyme and marjoram;
Risotto di Verdure, saffron risotto, seasonal vegetables, truffle oil, as well as
Filetto do Branzino, baked branzino with rustic potatoes salad, onions and black olives.
Torta Mimosa, pan di spagna, Chantilly cream and strawberry sauce.

Priced at $55 per person (tax and gratuity not included). As an added bonus all female guests who dine at the restaurant on Saturday, March 8th will receive a complimentary mimosa cocktail during dinner service.
